General guidelines and tips for proposals

Diversity is key

We prefer submissions with multiple speakers from different institutions, countries and perspectives.

Interactivity is welcome

We support formats such as panel discussions, workshops, case studies, and interactive presentations.

International reach

If you have the opportunity to invite a co-speaker from another country, we strongly encourage you to do so.

Language Quality

To ensure clarity and precision, we ask that all proposals be thoroughly proofread in English, ensuring that they are free from grammatical mistakes.

Clear structure

The proposal should include objectives, key messages, and benefits for participants.

Conditions for speakers

We cover travel expenses ranging from €70 to €1,000. The journey must begin and end in the country of the home institution.

Special conditions may apply. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Green Travel

We promote environmentally sustainable travel and encourage participants to choose green transport options whenever feasible.

Only standard economy or equivalent class travel is eligible for reimbursement; first-class and business-class expenses will not be reimbursed.

Practical value

We prefer submissions that are not only theoretical but also offer real-world experiences, concrete data, or best practices.
