About
The Centre of Excellence CREATIC at Masaryk University has been established to address a key policy priority: ensuring equitable and timely access to Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) for rare and paediatric conditions in Central and Eastern Europe.
CREATIC is built on a collaborative model that connects scientific excellence with regulatory, clinical, industrial, and societal perspectives. By integrating advanced research, GMP manufacturing capacity, clinical trials, regulatory foresight, health technology assessment, and innovation valorisation, CREATIC provides a comprehensive framework that accelerates translation of innovations into patient care.

CREATIC's mission reflects a broader European agenda: bridging regional disparities in access to advanced therapies, supporting Widening Participation, and strengthening Europe’s competitiveness in the ATMP field. For policymakers and funders, CREATIC demonstrates how structured pipelines, multidisciplinary cooperation, and patient engagement can deliver measurable impact, both for healthcare systems and for society at large.
Through its integrated and collaborative approach, CREATIC contributes to building a resilient European ecosystem for advanced therapies, ensuring that innovation is not only generated but also equitably delivered where it is needed most.
