Lena Dändliker is Head of the Swiss Education Lab at the Chair of Education Systems at ETH Zurich. Her research analyzes educational processes and their impact on individuals, the economy, and society. A particular focus of her work is STEM education. In this context, she evaluates the effectiveness of STEM initiatives and examines how they shape children’s and adolescents’ attitudes toward STEM careers.

Mariana Tesařová serves as Head of Internationalization at BUT, one of the leading technical universities in Central Europe. She focuses on strengthening the international dimension of STEM education and research, supporting initiatives that contribute to the development of globally competitive technical talent. A key part of her work is connecting international collaboration with broader EU priorities in STEM education, innovation capacity, and the development of a skilled workforce.

Chiara Colellea has an extensive professional experience in EU affairs, with a focus on higher education, research, innovation, and STEM education policies. She currently works in the Digital Education Unit of the DG EAC at the European Commission, where she contributes to the implementation of policies and initiatives promoting STEM education and skills development across the European Education Area.

Czech Liaison Office for Education and Research (CZELO)

David Chvála works as a Consultant for Research at CZELO. His work focuses on Horizon Europe and broader EU research and innovation policy. Together with his team, he promotes Czech science internationally and organises capacity-building activities for research managers and university support staff, with the aim of increasing Czech participation and success in European funding programmes.
